Full Tilt Poker on OPR
July 8th - 14th, 2009:
Full Tilt Poker (FTP) made a major software update on the 8th of July that required us to make a complete new system for tracking FTP tournament results (with at least 30 players). The new system was implemented July 14th and the following days adjusted to include as many tournaments as possible (adjustments are still going on). We are unfortunately not able to back-track lost FTP tournaments in general and therefore we cannot add the missing FTP tournaments we lost in consequence of the update.
July 03, 2009:
To solve the dispute with Full Tilt Poker (see below) we have accepted not to display Full Tilt Poker tournaments with less than 30 players. (not only future sit-and-goes with less than 30 players as stated earlier).
Full Tilt Poker has decided that displaying statistics based on these tournaments gives our users an unfair advantage.
In addition we have agreed that our users will have to accept a "Fair use policy" before they can access ROI, Profit and ABI on Official Poker Rankings.
We have suggested Full Tilt Poker, that in addition to their decision players could be given a choice to release their own restricted (sit-and-goes with less than 30 players)
statistics to the public themselves or at least get access to their own complete statistics, but for now Full Tilt Poker has turned down these suggestions.
Anyway, we are glad that we again are able to display the most important Full Tilt Poker tournaments and statistics and we hope you still will find Official Poker Rankings a useful service.
Thanks to all of you who took time to forward your opinion to us and directly to Full Tilt Poker.
Your help has undoubtedly been instrumental in highlighting the importance of Official Poker Rankings to Full Tilt Poker.
Thank you all for your strong support.

June 29, 2009:
We are currently communicating with FTP to find a solution. We expect that we will be able to reinstate FTP within a few days. Thank you for your continued support.
June 20, 2009:
Full Tilt Poker (FTP) has demanded us to remove all FTP tournaments and player statistics from Official Poker Rankings (OPR) because they suddenly decided that OPR "gives players an unfair advantage"
and works "very similar to how a shared hand history database works".
We don't believe OPR gives players an unfair advantage. OPR is a free site available to all players and in our opinion any player should be allowed to use OPR
to follow their progress, for staking, collusion detection, community discussions, competitions and to see how they are doing in comparison to other poker players.
All the data we collect is publicly viewable at the end of each tournament in the tournament lobby.
We do not collect hand histories nor do we provide access to any hand history information. OPR has nothing to do with a shared hand history database.
We have proposed Full Tilt Poker different solutions to keep FTP tournaments on OPR and we hope they will reverse their decision and help us clear this misunderstanding soon.
But for now we have decided to follow their demands to remove all FTP tournaments on OPR.
Your opinion matters.
We strongly encourage you to forward your opinion about this to support@fulltiltpoker.com
